This album was written for the Calistos Harari Septet these compositions are various ways that William has crafted a west coast with a tinge of dissonance .
William Uses the brass to the extreme with cluster chords and sparse chords on the brass with various combinations of horns for the octet .
With also the use of extreme registers and the swingin rhytmn section .
The guitar is featured on the fetty dance and calistos bop for 2 tracks on the album . which allows some time for contrast when its removed for other tracks it was recorded over the span of 4 sessions guitar twice and then it was replaced with an extra horn player .
